Update! Jailbreak iphone 2.2 version

Wow!, the dev team has come out already with the Jailbreak for version 2.2. If you upgraded to version 2.2 and would like to jailbreak it then below I put the link for QUICKPWM for Windows and Mac to help you do this.
I had posted earlier how to downgrade from version 2.2 to 2.1 and I just checked and now the new Jailbreak is available. Hope this helps

The dev team has just updated their post with the following note:
NOTE: ‘Simple Mode’ in PwnageTool currently only works for the iPod Touch. To use PwnageTool for iPhones you will need to use ‘Expert mode’. This is a workaround while we make an update and fix this issue. In order to do this you will need to navigate to the ‘General’ window and change two things: Deselect ‘activate’ ONLY if you are normally able to activate through iTunes (but if you wish to ‘hacktivate’ the iPhone using PwnageTool then leave it selected). You will also need to change the partition size to about 1000MB (type in the value or use the slider).
‘Hactivate’ means to activate the iPhone yourself without Apple. This is used if you live outside an officially supported region and cannot activate the phone using iTunes.

sir, can we downgrade baseband also wit this procedure or it is just the firmware
from 2.2 to 2.1 since it will show NO SERVICE ON the carrier

it will be really nice if you can specifically shoW 3G FIRMWARE BASEBAND 2.28 WORKING WITH 2.1 FIRMWARE OR DOWNGRADED ON A VIDEO with mac version ,specially for those who have upgraded there baseband TO 2.28 and unable to use there 3G IPHONE

I cannot seem to operate the QuickPwn 2.2. An error popped out “The application failed to initialized properly”…. please advice…

i have iphone 3g 8g running on 2.0 an firmware 02.30.0 im trying to update it to get to 2.2 with baseband 2.28.00 im usin itunes to do so but it messes up everytyme wat do i do please write me back im up 24/7 please
