I Bought mine this weekend and put about a hundred rounds through. the gun jammed about 4 shots out of ten on the first clipped then continued to jam, but it was happening less the more i shot it. I dont know if this is a break in or actual issue with the weapon. Gonna give it another go this weekend and see if i have better results.

I know this is an older post but wanted to comment.

I have the same gun and like it too. I don’t know how you got a 3 dot sight for yours but I have been searching for one for over a year with no luck. I have found two downside to this gun or at least the version I have.

1. Is it is hard to find any parts for it. The sight at least is almost impossible to find. Mine came with a two dot site that I really do not like. I have looked for a 3 dot and a laser grip not being able to find either. My understanding is depending on when you purchased it will depend on features some and it makes it hard to find what you need. Mine is only about a year old.

2. Is I just found a safety flaw (online). If there is any pressure on the trigger when you set the safety the safety pin misses allowing a round to be fired with it on. Since the safety will not allow the slide to go back I don’t know what would happen when the gun goes off. If you watch what you are doing and keep your finger off the trigger like you should this should not be an issue.

Other than that I love this gun. It makes a good carry gun that I use. Thanks for the video.

I’m considering purchasing one of these firearms. Itll be my first handgun. I’m not new to the world of firearms, but like you I was very intrigued by the safety features. Although everyone I spoken with has completely dismissed the Taurus brand as being a good gun. I take these opinions with a grain of salt as no one could really give me a solid reason why they thought that. Having owned the gun for the past several months can you still say that it’s a good fire arm? Any issues with rounds feeding or ejecting, or other malfunctions? Any feedback from an owner would much be appreciated

Great overview of the Taurus PT-140. I looked at one over the weekend and your videos on features and field stripping have convinced me this weapon is a top contender for a subsequent purchase. You might have a gig doing this type of overview and field stripping for multiple weapons’ manufacturers. I know I would be interested in seeing videos on features, advantages and benefits, as well as field stripping for other firearms. Good job.
