Exchange and Outlook 2007, 2010 Password Fix
If you have Outlook 2007, or Outlook 2010 with Exchange server 2007 or 2010 and you are getting this password box every time you open Outlook, then I have a full proof fix below. This will especially help you if you have several exchange accounts in Outlook 2010. The fix below is assuming you have RPC installed in your exchange server. The tutorial below is on Windows 7 64BIT using Outlook 2010 and Exchange 2010.
The tutorial should work also on Outlook 2007 and Exchange 2007. By the way doing these changes also helped outlook connect to the exchange server quicker.

STEP1:
The first step will involve accessing your exchange server and opening IIS (Internet Information Services). Once you open it you will need to change the SSL Settings on the folders below.
Folders to edit: Autodiscover, Exchange, Exchweb, Microsoft-Server-ActiveSync, OAB, owa.
STEP2:
When you click on the SSL Settings for each of the folders mentioned above an option will open up, you will need to change the Client certificates option to Accept for all these folders. Save the settings for each of these folders.
STEP3:
Once you change all the folder SSL Settings, then click on the taskbar the start button and choose run, in the run window type CMD. A prompt window will appear, type IISRESET to restart the Internet Information Services Program. Now this part of the tutorial is complete. Now we need to edit the accounts on the workstation.

STEP4:
On the workstation, go to the control panel and look for an icon named Mail (32bit). Open it.

STEP5:
You will see a pop up box, choose the Email accounts button which will display the accounts you have configured for exchange. Choose the account from the list and click on the Change option.

STEP6:
When you choose the account a options box will appear, from the tabs choose the one named Connection. You will need to put a checkmark on the “Connect to Microsoft Exchange using HTTP” and then click on the “Exchange Proxy Settings” button.

On this final box you will need to fill in the https:// server information which should be the complete name of your exchange server. Then make sure you put a checkmark on the “On fast networks, connect using HTTP first, then connect using TCP/IP” option. Finally change the Authentication at the bottom to “Basic Authentication”. Now you are ready to open Outlook again.

STEP7:
Now when you open Outlook the Password box will change from the first image below to the one in the second image. Simply put your exchange username and password, and put a checkmark on “Remember my credentials”. Once completed, close outlook and when you reopen it no more password box. After months with this problem I finally got this fixed, I hope this works for you.

Enable Airprint in Windows and use any printer

Apple just released iOS 4.2 and guess what. Airprint will only work with a selected handful of HP printers. They also disabled Airprint for your PC, so you can’t share your local printer on the network. All of the sudden this update does not sound so terrific. Well thanks to some folks on the internet there are ways to enable Airprint on your Windows machine and use any printer you have attached.
I put together the tutorial below from the information I found to help you out. This process is not perfect but it works and until there is an official application or update that will allow us to use any printer this is the only way. Below are step by step instructions on how to do this.
1. Make sure that you install the latest iTunes 10.1 version on your windows computer, you will also need to download Airprint from HERE
2. Download Airprint to the desktop so it will be easy to find.
3. If you are using Windows 32 bit or Windows 64 bit the process will vary slightly.
If you are using windows 32 bit you will need to go to the PROGRAM FILES folder and create a folder named Airprint. C:\Program Files

If you are using windows 64 bit then you will need to go the PROGRAM FILES (x86) folder and create a folder named Airprint. C:\Program Files (x86)

4. Once you did the step above, go back to the Airprint.zip file you downloaded earlier and right click on it to extract it. Grab the files inside the extracted folder and copy them into the Airprint folder you created in the prior step above.
5. Now for the actual activation of the Airprint service. Click on Start, then Click Run. On the Run popup window type CMD.
In windows 7 the Run option does not appear by default in the Start menu. You can click on Start then choose All Programs, and choose Accessories from the menu. In the accessories folder you will see the Command Prompt.

6. Now in the command prompt you will put the following command below. It will be different for Windows 32bit and 64bit. I listed them below.
Windows 32bit: sc.exe create AirPrint binPath= "C:\Program Files\AirPrint\airprint.exe -s" depend= "Bonjour Service" start= auto
Windows 64bit: sc.exe create AirPrint binPath= "C:\Program Files (x86)\AirPrint\airprint.exe -s" depend= "Bonjour Service" start= auto
You will see a response like the one below.

7. Ok if you saw the response similar to the one above in step six then you are ready for the last step.
On the command prompt type: sc.exe start AirPrint
This is for both versions of Windows.
You will see a response like the one below.

8. One last thing to check is to make sure you are sharing your printer in Windows. Remember to go to the printers folder in the control panel and make sure it is being shared.

9. To test it out simply open your iPad or iPhone and try to print something. If it all went well then you will see your printers like the image below.
In my test the printers I setup using this method in Windows 7 appeared with a small lock on the right and when I tried printing it asked me for the username and password of my account on that machine. Once I put it in then it sent the document to the printer. I know it is a little bit of a pain to put the username and password but it works. On the Mac I did not have this problem, I was just able to print without putting a password.

Gateway NV5214 Laptop Review
Are you looking for a great laptop that won’t break your budget. Well I have one I can recommend you. It is the Gateway NV5214u which comes fully loaded and includes one of my favorites things on a laptop and that is an HDMI port. This laptop goes anywhere from $449 to $549. Check out the video below where I will show you all the features on it. Also below are the technical specs for the machine and where you can get it.
One thing I wanted to mention is that if you can’t find it because the store is out of stock, than wait until October 22nd which is when Windows 7 launches. Stores are holding out on putting out inventory since they want to put out the laptops with Windows 7 preinstalled and not vista. Come October 22nd all laptops or computers sold at retail stores will most likely have Windows 7 and Vista will be a thing of the past.
