Check out the new Asus Eeepc 1005HA which replaced the Eeepc 1000HE. The onboard features are pretty much the same in both models. It has a 1.6GHz intel atom processor, 160GB SATA 2.5 5400RPM Drive, and 1GB of ram. Also both units have a 10” screen. The older model came with a 6 Cell battery which gave you about 5hrs of usage where as the new 1005HA comes with a 3 Cell battery giving you about 2hrs of usage.

The new Eeepc 1005HA is lighter and somewhat slimmer than its older model. They also did away with the Chiclet keyboard and changed a few things on it. One of the features that does stand out in the new model is the ability to pinch in and out like the iphone in web pages, photos, and even adobe acrobat reader. Asus has done it again by adding an even nicer netbook than the previous netbook models. The Eeepc 1000HE or HEB has a 10.2 screen that uses a native resolution of 1024×600, a 1.6GHZ Intel Atom processor and much more. Below is a video that will show you all the ins and outs of this beautiful netbook which goes for about $349. Also below are the technical specs and links to where you can get a bigger hard drive if you feel that the 160GB is not enough and also where you can get the memory, which can be upgraded to 2GB.

With the upgrade of 2GB of ram I was able to install Windows Vista and it works without any problems. Due to the video card not having the power to run the Aero glass look of vista it just has the plain black look.
