The Coolermaster 932 HAF is a gorgeous case. It has a solid construction and plenty of cooling features onboard. The TIVO HD is an awesome device in my opinion because it takes DVR recording to the next level. With the new TIVO HD you can record 2 shows simultaneously while viewing a third show, you can also view NETFLIX movies and Amazon on demand. Coming from being a Replay TV user, I find this device does everything I need to record my shows. The smaller TIVO HD comes with a 160GIG drive which only has 20hrs of HD recording time and currently sells for about $249. In the video below I will show you how to upgrade the hard drive in the TIVO to a 1 Terabyte drive and gain 150hrs of HD recording time. Also below are links where you can get the TIVO HD, the Hard drive, and download the WINMFS software to clone the original drive to the new 1TB drive. Keep in mind you can also use a larger drive if your budget permits it.

One last thing I wanted to remind you is that you will need to connect the TIVO Hard drive and the new 1TB drive to your computer as additional hard drives. Once you boot into windows you will use the WINMFS utility to clone the drives. This step is very important. If you get stuck send me an email.

Enable the 30 Second Skip on your Remote

The 30 Second Skip

Every TiVo can do a 30 second skip – you just have to enable it. Here’s how you do it:

1 Start playing any recording.

2 During playback press:

Select – Play – Select – 3 – 0 – Select

3 You should hear three bongs (if you don’t have the TiVo sounds disabled), and you’re done.

Your "skip to beginning/end" button (the arrow pointing to a line) is now a 30 second skip button. During fast-forwarding or rewinding, the button will still "skip to tick."

The button looks like this:

To turn the feature off, repeat the three steps.

Important note: this feature is set to "off" at default on restarts. So if your TiVo restarts or loses power, the feature will be turned back off. Just enter the code again while watching a recording to re-enable it.
