Asus has done it again by adding an even nicer netbook than the previous netbook models. The Eeepc 1000HE or HEB has a 10.2 screen that uses a native resolution of 1024×600, a 1.6GHZ Intel Atom processor and much more. Below is a video that will show you all the ins and outs of this beautiful netbook which goes for about $349. Also below are the technical specs and links to where you can get a bigger hard drive if you feel that the 160GB is not enough and also where you can get the memory, which can be upgraded to 2GB.

Technical Specs:

  • 10.2-inch screen, 1024×600 resolution
  • Intel Atom processor
  • Intel® Graphics Media Accelerator 950
  • 2-in-1 SD memory card slot
  • 3 high-speed USB 2.0 ports
  • Built-in 10/100 Mbps Ethernet LAN with RJ-45 connector
  • 1GB RAM (expandable up to 2GB)
  • 160GB Hard Drive 2.5 SATA 5400RPM Drive
  • Built-in high-speed wireless connectivity (802.11b/g/n).
  • 1.3 megapixel camera with Microphone
  • High-definition audio, stereo speakers
  • 6-cell battery – 7 hours of life
  • Weight: 3.2 lbs. and measures just 1.5" thin
  • No CDROM included
  • Windows XP Home edition pre-installed

With the upgrade of 2GB of ram I was able to install Windows Vista and it works without any problems. Due to the video card not having the power to run the Aero glass look of vista it just has the plain black look.
